SUMMARY

This job will be based out of Union City, Oklahoma.  Coordinate and perform the preventive maintenance, mechanical repair and services required on QES Pressure Pumping assets in accordance with company policies, procedures and instructions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance on company assets, facility machinery and tools.
  • Maintain clean, safe and OSHA compliant tools, machinery and work areas.
  • Complete required reports and paperwork in accordance with timelines requested.
  • Responsible for the compliance and correct use of all required safety equipment, shop tools and machinery necessary to perform all expected job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure parts inventory, shop tools and machinery is stored in a secure area or locked to prevent unauthorized use by non-trained or certified district employees.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • 1-3 year oilfield pumping services or related mechanical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS

Minimum Valid Class B CDL for Field Mechanics - Preferred Valid Class A CDL

WORK HOURS / OVERTIME

2 Weeks on and 1 week off with Retention Pay on week off.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work involves occasional to frequent lifting of 75 pounds.
  • Work area, machinery, and tool operations require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots, protective clothing and hardhats.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating tools, machinery and computers.
  • Working in extreme weather conditions may be required.
  • Working of irregular hours required.
  • Will involve shift work and overtime
  • Travel overnight and multiple stay is a requirement
